7.5 Phantom Jams

Open the rear door and thoroughly inspect:

•

The rear door hinge pins and latch.

•

The fusing exit/rear door sensor linkages—should move freely with no
binding.

Open the top door and inspect the registration sensor lever. It should move
freely with no binding.

Inspect the following:

•

The J208 connector on the DC control board to the fusing exit/rear door
sensor

•

The 13-pin connector that plugs into J201 on the DC controller board

Swap the following to fix a phantom jam:

•

Fusing exit/rear door sensor

•

DC control board

•

Paper feed assembly
