7.2.1 Chroma Matte Settings for the SE-1200MU
The VGB-2000 allows users to achieve the chromakey function by its built-in SE-1200MU. For how to
set the chromakey function by the SE-1200MU software, please refer to following chapters.
At first, please open the SE-1200MU software and then please press the “Chroma” button, the
chromakey operating interface will be shown as following diagram.
Basically, the Chroma Matte function allows users to set the center value for the chromakey color
range.
The parameters and values for the “Chroma Matte” are shown on the bottom of the setting window.
You can click the palette and then move the crosshair by moving the mouse for setting the Hue value.
Please press the “Hue” which is located at the bottom blue column for entering corresponding Hue
angle for adjusting the Hue value slightly.
The specific color can be obtained at certain angle of the palette. For example, red is located at the 0
degree position (12 o’clock), green is located at about 120 degree position (4 o’clock), blue is located
at about the 240 degree position (8 o’clock).
Secondary colors such as yellow, cyan, and purple are at
60 degrees, 180 degrees, and 300 degrees respectively.
The Luma value (Brightness) determines the darkness or brightness of the selected color. Please press
“Luma” for entering the new Lama value. Basically, the Bgnd Suppress is used for suppressing the
background noise of the final image, which is the brightness. If the output of the chromakey shows
bright edge, the Bgnd Suppress can be used for suppressing the background brightness which is
penetrated by the edge. Opacity allows users to adjust the transparency of the chromakey color for
the foreground.
