10.5. E3 Electric Interface Card Straps

DM16E1-E3E cards are provided with straps that allow for the connection of the coaxial cable shield to the
frame ground. For further details, see item 7.9.

10.6. Restricted Use Straps

The main card has two straps (E14 e E15) which are restricted to use in factory tests. They should always
be kept in position 0-2 so as to allow for the adequate functioning of the equipment. The only way to
access these straps is by removing their cover.
