ATTENTION: positioning the micro-switches “1” of
the transmitter and “3” of the receiver to the OFF
position will reduce battery life.
(1) The IR beam provides a function “environmental disqualification” which makes it possible to inhibit alarm activations in the event of
unfavourable environmental conditions such as snow, fog, strong rain, ice, bad alignment… all potential causes of false alarms.
5.5 Adjustment of detection speed
The factory default beam interruption time is set at
50 ms for normal functioning.
This can be modified using micro-switches 1 & 2
located on the front of the RECEIVER.
According to the supposed speed of the

5.6 Adjustment of alarm inhibit period
In order to conserve battery life, the activation
timing of the exit alarm and environmental
disqualification
(1) , provided by the infra-red
receiver module, can be adjusted to a period of
120 seconds.
It is possibIe to modify this vaIue by the
adjustment shown to the right.

When setting at 120 seconds in the event of
permanent detection/beam interrupted the radio
transmission is activated only once per period of
120 s.
This setting is recommanded when there is
frequent legitimate passage through the barrier
when the alarm system is OFF.
