4.3 Testing radio connections (SH102AX & SH103AX)
1. Before fixing the IR transmitter and receiver modules with the
built-in radio, place them near the intended mounting position
and check the radio connections with the control panel. If the
connection is correct, the control panel states the identification
vocally of activated module.
To initiate the test transmission press for more than 5 seconds
on the push-button of each IR module, the control panel states
vocally:
“beep, test detector X (or customised message), group
Y, (immediate or delayed or combined)” .
2. Where necessary and in order to increase the radio range,
it is possible to use the radio relay module (see note radio
relay).

4.4 Fixing the base
ATTENTION: before fixing the bases of the modules refer first of to the first three paragraphs of the chapter “4. Infra-red barrier
installation” , sections 4.1, 4.2 & 4.3.
• This product can be installed on a wall or a post (diameter between 40 and 48 mm)
• The height of installation of the first module, with the radio transmitters, above ground must be at least 70 cm.
4.4.1 Wall mounting
1.
Position the base with
anti-tamper pin
at the top, then
position the fixing points.
2. Select screw anchors suitable for the dimension of the screws
and the type of the wall structure then drill suitable holes for
the selected anchors and insert.
3. Screw and check the fixing of the base on the wall.
ATTENTION: when fixing the base to the wall make sure the anti-
tamper pin functions correctly and will engage correctly with the
anti-tamper microswitch.
