disable igmp_snooping
Purpose
Used to disable IGMP snooping on the Switch.
Syntax
disable igmp_snooping {forward_mcrouter_only}
Description
This command is used to disable IGMP snooping on the Switch. IGMP snooping can be
disabled only if IP multicast routing is not being used. Disabling IGMP snooping allows all
IGMP and IP multicast traffic to flood within a given IP interface.
Parameters
forward_mcrouter_only
– Adding this parameter to this command will disable forwarding
all multicast traffic to a multicast–enabled routers. The Switch will then forward all
multicast traffic to any IP router.
Entering this command without the parameter will disable igmp snooping on the Switch.
Restrictions
Only Administrator and Operator-level users can issue this command.
Example usage:
To disable IGMP snooping on the Switch:

Purpose
Used to show the current status of IGMP snooping on the Switch.
Syntax
show igmp_snooping {vlan <vlan_name 32>}
Description
This command is used to display the current IGMP snooping configuration on the Switch.
Parameters
vlan <vlan_name 32>
−
The name of the VLAN for which to view the IGMP snooping
configuration.
Restrictions None.
