Purpose
Used to display the switch’s current loop-detect configuration.
Syntax
show loopdetect
Description
The show loop-detect command displays the switch’s current loop-detect configuration.
Parameters None.
Restrictions None.

show loopdetect ports
Purpose
Used to display the switch’s current per–port loop-detect configuration.
Syntax
show loopdetect ports [all | <portlist> ]
Description
The show loop-detect ports command displays the switch’s current per-port loop-detect
configuration and status.
Parameters
portlist
– Specifies a range of ports to be displayed. (UnitID:port number).
all
– System will display all ports loopdetect information.
Restrictions None.
Example usage:
To display loop-detect state of port 1–8 in port–based mode:
