level. The reversed process is performed when the static pressure decreases
below the low pressure set point. The Off Time is common to both closing
and opening cycles.
Seasonal Pressure Set Points:
The high and low pressure set points can automatically be adjusted in relation
with the outside temperature. This function is available if the outside
temperature probe has been activated* (see Controller Setup ). Using higher
pressure limits during winter allows to reduce the cold air intake: The
pressure in the room must be greater before the curtain can start to open.
The limits are automatically decreased in summer. Thus, the curtain can
open and close with fewer restrictions in the pressure level.
The high and low pressure limits are automatically defined based on the
outside temperature. The following graphic illustrates how the limits are
calculated. The season changes are signalled by user-defined outside
temperatures (see Vent Doors' Chapter).
Pre-Opening Time:
The pre-opening delay is used to open the curtain before activating the
tunnel fans when the tunnel ventilation mode is enabled. This pre-opening
is executed when the controller enters in tunnel ventilation mode.
*If the outside temperature probe is not used, the controller permanently
uses winter's Hi and Lo set points.
