HERD AGE AND ANIMAL DEATHS
The herd age is used by the temperature and minimum ventilation
curves as well as for tunnel ventilation. It ranges from 1 to 250 days.
The user can also keep a tally of animal deaths. Each time the user
modifies the new number of animal deaths, the value is added to the
total animal deaths. To reset animal deaths to zero, set the new number
of animal deaths to “ reset ”.
Set the function to AGE & MORTALITY using the menu select
buttons. The current age and total number of animal deaths are
displayed.
Press the Edit key. The current
age flashes on the display.
Use the arrow keys to adjust the age in days to the desired value.
Press the down-arrow key. The number of new animal deaths is
displayed.
Press the Edit key. The number of new animal deaths flashes on the
display.
Use the arrow keys to adjust the new animals deaths to the desired
value.
