Taking Care of the Product
How to Clean the Clean Cover
After cleaning the clean cover, be sure to dry it before attaching it to the lid.
•
If you do not clean the clean cover, it will cause an odor during warming. (Unplug the product and let the main body cool down before cleaning it.)
•
Clean the main body and the lid (in particular, the inner packing of the clean cover) using a dry dish towel. Do not use benzene, thinner, etc.
•
While using the product, rice water on the clean cover, lid or inside of the inner pot may create starch films, and this is not an unsanitary phenomenon.
•
Evaporation of internal moisture during cooking may cause small amounts of vapor to come out through the sides of the lid.
1
Turn the handle to align “V" with "▼" as shown in the figure below. Then, hold the pressure packing of the
clean cover and pull the clean cover while pushing the [PUSH] button to detach and wash the clean cover.
(Detach the clean cover after the main body cools down.)
The clean cover will not be detached unless "V" aligns with "▼.” Pressing it forcibly may damage the parts.

Wash the clean cover frequently with a mild dish detergent
and a sponge. Use a dry cloth to remove moisture. Use your
fingers to push loose areas of the pressure packing into the
grooves on the lid while cleaning before using the cooker. If
the pressure packing is loose, attach it properly by fitting the
packing bumps into the grooves. (For information on how to
attach the pressure packing, refer to page 12.)

Align the bumps on the clean cover with the lower holder
and press the upper part of the clean cover to attach it. If
the clean cover is installed inside out, it may be damaged.
So, be cautious. If the clean cover is not attached, the
product does not recognize the lid lock, and you cannot
use its cooking and auto cleaning functions.

upright.
The letters must be upright, and the bumps on the pressure
packing and the clean cover must be accurately aligned.
