5. Apply the new ring

6.
Apply the new ring. The screws can
be tightened VERY CAREFULLY one
by one. First tight the four screws on
all four sides, turning them GENTLY
(this is VERY important, or the
ceramic might be damaged). It is
very important NOT to tight each all
the way down in one step, but to
GRADUALLY turn each one until the
“resistance” to be turned becomes
slightly higher.
6. Check the screws torque
A correct procedure would be to
tighten in sequence each screw at
least 3 times before reaching to the
suggested torque (0.8-0.9N/m). When
the screwing resistance becomes
higher, stop immediately to turn the
screw: this means that the bottom “O”
ring got the maximum compression
and the ceramic tile is starting
to
get
in
direct
contact
with the aluminium sensor case.
7. Clean the sensor surface from the residual silicone
8. Verify again the reading , placing the reference glass on top of the
sensor. The result might vary by 15%.
If the reading is higher/lower more than 15%, please contact out
technical assistance.
9. Perform a calibration ( as indicated in par. 6.2).
