7.3 Measurement in monitor mode
The monitor function can be activated by pressing measure button for at least
4 seconds, after this time one of the following screen may appear depending
from the selected menu item in the menu “extra” (
DIGIT
or
GRAPH
) mode:

In this mode the measurement sample and the temperature of the material are
showed continuously on the screen. Measure data in monitor are only
displayed and not saved in memory.
To exit from this mode, press again the measure button.
This function is useful to set up correctly the instrument position prior to start
a set of measures.
In “digit” mode is also possible to check the heating status of the sensor by
enabling “Warm up” option from the settings on the measurement menu (see
paragraph 6.1).
