4.7.4 Trouble Shooting
Problem
Possible Cause
Suggested remedy
No AC output or low
output power
Bad contact with
cigarette lighter plug.
Battery low.
Engine system requires
ignition to be ON.
Poor battery.
Excessive load.
Overheated shutdown.
Check connection
between the plug and the
cigarette lighter socket.
Recharge battery.
Turn ON the vehicle
engine.
Replace battery.
Reduce load. Check if
load does not exceed the
power rating.
Allow inverter to cool
down. Ensure that load
does not exceed the
power rating for
continuous operation.
Low output voltage
Overloaded.
Low input voltage.
Reduce load.
Keep input voltage above
11.5V for 12V model and
23V for 24V model.
