8. Warnings and error messages
The instrument may display the following messages:
MEMORY ERROR!
When this message appears, an irreversible error has
taken place in the memory during reading/writing. The
memory must be re-formatted and the format menu
will appear on the screen.
MEMORY FULL!
When this message appears, the internal memory is
full, no other measure data can be saved. To continue
with measurement, delete some data (machine,
position or measure) or format the memory.
ERROR, CHECK
CONNECTION
When this message appears, the sensor is not well
connected to controller unit or a communication
problem occurred between the sensor and the control
unit. The same message is shown if the control unit
enters into “time out” while the sensor has difficulty to
“lock” the reference sample to start the measurements.
This might happens in case of high turbulence
positions, or where the mass variance is important (i.e.
on the water line). In this case a higher speed/accuracy
must be selected (pls see paragraph 5.6.1).
WARNING ICON
If the warning icon is displayed, the maximum or
minimum temperature limit for measurement has been
reached.
BATTERY BLINK
If the battery symbol is blinking, the battery pack
charge is low and needs to be re-charged.
CHARGING
When this message appears, the battery charger has
been connected, and after approximately 3 seconds the
unit turns off automatically.
