6.4 Immunity test (Test)
CAUTION!
Measurements made with FiberScanONE™, or any kind of
microwave meter, could be impaired if there is an intense radio
frequency disturbance on the sensor's operating band. To avoid
inaccurate measurement, always perform an immunity test before
beginning a measurement session
Selecting the menu item “
Test
”, the following screen will appear, requesting to
position the sensor head in a free area. Please clean and dry the surface of the
head if it appears dirty.

When the measurement button is pressed, the instrument carries out an
automatic test and informs the user of the result.

If the test result as "
Passed
", the measurement session can be carried out.
If the result is "
Failed
" with the flashing word "WARNING", then the
measurements carried out with the instrument may be incorrect or out of
scale.
