6 USING THE MACHINE
6.1 General warnings
Personnel in charge of these opera ons
must wear the following personal
protec ve equipment.
DANGER
The machine must be used by a single operator. Unauthorized people
who could reach or touch machine parts during opera on must not
be admi ed in the nearby area.
It is strictly forbidden to use the machine without protec ons or with
any safety devices present on the machine disabled, broken down, or
removed. The panels must be kept closed at all mes.
Do not tamper or disable the roll-bar lock mechanism: this could
cause damage to the machine. Parts damaged for this reason will
be excluded from the warranty coverage.
Do not, for any reason, place your hands in the dispensing area when
running the machine, except for loading and unloading the mixing
cups.
WARNING
CHECK THAT DURING INSTALLATION THE MACHINE HAS BEEN
PROPERLY FASTENED TO THE WALL.
6.2 At the beginning of the working day
At the beginning of each work shi , always carry out the following
opera ons:
• Check that all toners are present in the storage racks.
• Check that all safety devices are in good working order.
• Make sure there are no foreign objects of any type in the dispensing
area, near the scale carriage.
6.3 Work phases
The operator is guided in running the machine by the so ware, which
displays the instruc ons to be carried out.
1. Make the selec ons from
PaintManager
(selec on of the formula).
2. Li the roll-bar present in the dispensing rack.
3. Load the toners required for the formula, by following the visual
indica ons given by the so ware, so as to quickly locate where
they are stored in the machine.
4. Open the safety door, place an empty mixing cup on the scale
plate (free slot posi on). If necessary, use the riser based on the
cup size, to bring the cup as close as possible to the dispensing
point.
5. Close the safety door.
6. Once done the above, move down the roll-bar un l it locks in
place.
7. Confi rm dispensing opera on from the so ware.
8. When dispensing is fi nished, open the door, remove the mixing
cup and proceed with the next dispensing (free slot posi on).
6.4 Dispensing
To dispense the chosen formula, the operator must take the required
toners from the storage racks and place them in the dispensing rack.
The “Visual Stock” screen shows a machine layout to indicate where
the required toners are stocked.
The icon indicates that the toner needs to be recirculated, using the
specifi c command (chapter 6.7.1).
