• "RCL" to fetch data from the measured-data memory at any time as long as the
DMM ist not turned off yet,
• an automatic switch-off function (Auto Current Off) turns the DMM off after abt. 30
minutes of non-use to avoid burdening the batteries in an unnecessary way, and
• an integrated USB interface (Universal Serial Bus) for data transfer by means of a
PC.
The measuring instrument can be universally employed in both the hobby and indu-
strial fields (under certain conditions, CAT II) or even at schools.
An alkaline 9 V block battery, e.g. the 6LR61 or MN1604 or 6F22 or 006P types as
are necessary is used for current suppy.

Multimeter
(1) USB interface (B type) under the housing lid.
(1a) Multi-function LCD display (LCD = liquid crystal display).
(2) "Current" switch to turn on and off.
(3) "Range" push-button to manually select the measuring range, deactivates the
AUTO-Range; sub-function of MIN/MAX memory display.
(4) "REL" push-button to measure differences; sub-function of reading out (RCL =
Recall = fetch back) the integrated memory locations.
(5) "BLUE" key to initiate the sub-functions.
(6) "HOLD" key to "retain" the instantaneous value measured in the left-hand sub-
display. Sub-function: Occupy the "MEM" memory locations.
(7) "DC/AC" key to switch over the direct and alternating magnitudes in the voltage
and current field and to change from the resistance test to the continuity test.
(8) Range selector switch for all measuring ranges.
(9) Connecting socket for capacitance measurement, "S/O"- (Signal output) signal
generator and temperature measurement.
(10) Connecting socket for "hFE" transistor test.
(11) Connecting socket "20A" (current connection for the 20 A measuring range; for
D.C. = "+").
(12) Connecting socket "mA" (current connection for the 400µA and 400 mA measu-
ring ranges; for DC = "+").
(13) Connecting socket "V/
Ω
" (= "+").
(14) Connecting socket "COM" (Common = Mass = "-").
