Safety Measures

Danger by Electric Current

• Install the device only in an electrical network which has been designated for this

purpose.

• Only use the integrated power pack delivered with the device.

• Do not open the casing of the power pack.

• In case of an operational failure, disconnect the power pack from the electrical network

and all other appliances.

• Install both device and power pack only in dry and weather-proof rooms.

• As soon as the safe operation of a device cannot be guaranteed anymore, the device

must be immediately switched off and secured against inadvertent restarting. Such
safe operation is no longer possible, if for instance

–

device and connecting lines are visibly damaged,

–

the device no longer operates smoothly and perfectly,

–

if the device has been exposed to rain or humidity,

–

if objects have been inserted,

–

if the device has been in storage for a considerable time under adverse
conditions or if it has been subjected to heavy transport strains.

If any or all of the preceding apply, have the device examined by CBC.

Installation and Operation

• When installing the device, the generally accepted rules and regulations of electrical

installation must be observed at all times.

• When installing and operating the device, pay attention to the documentation of all

connected peripherals such as swivelling / inclined heads or cameras. These contain
important safety instructions and information about permissible applications.

• Only ever execute steps for the installation and operation of the device which have

been described in this manual. Additional actions may cause personal injury and mate-
rial damage and/or may damage the device.

• Make sure that you have a safe stand when executing any kind of work at great

heights. Only use safety ladders. Secure yourself against falling where appropriate.
