If alarm active
The text will only be displayed in case of an alarm.

The alarm signals (text and symbol) remain displayed once the alarm is over.

Alarm input activation
You can activate the available alarm inlets of the ACom individually and add short texts
for prompt and easy identification. Apart from the alarm inputs, you are free to choose
additional events which will trigger an alarm. An alarm can be automatically caused by an
interruption to the ISDN-line, the modem-line or the video connection. Status panels iden-
tify the present status of an alarm trigger:
Grey:
not activated
Green:
activated and in rest mode
Red:
activated and in alarm mode
The ACom gives you the option of using the alarm input 0 as master alarm. This may be
useful when a key switch is being used to activate the system. If this option is activated,
the alarm input 0 must itself be active (red status panel) to clear all other alarms.
You can decide for every individual alarm input whether it is meant to trigger an alarm in
the case of voltage detected (
On
) or not detected
(Low active
).
• Select the right options by clicking the respective boxes.
• Enter a text (description) for every alarm inlet in the text panel provided.
• Click
Set
to save the description.
Motion detection sensitivity
All ACom models are equipped with an integrated video sensor capable of identifying
changes in the video signal based on image processing according to the norm H.320.
These changes are caused mainly by movements within the visual range of the camera.
The sensitivity of the video sensor can be adjusted so that a certain “movement threshold“
must be crossed before an alarm is triggered. The threshold values range from 0 ... 15 with
the highest value representing a maximum of sensitivity.
