4.7.1.2 RF PARAMETERS
The RF parameters include: PW On/Off, Oscilation On/Off, master ATT (UL/DL), temperature, assistant
ATT (UL/DL), gain (read-only), uplink freq., downlink freq., VSWR threshold, power threshold (UL/DL) and
field threshold.
Identifier
Application
Setting 1
Setting 2
Initial setting
PW On/Off
To avoid the electro-magnetic
emission from the repeater in
operation, by enable/disable
the DC power supply to the
frequency selecting and
amplifying module. The
repeater gives out no power in
this case, but other parameters
are not affected.
‘ON' = DC power supply
enabled, and the
frequency selecting and
amplifying module is
enabled, parameters of
which can be set and
read.
‘OFF’= no DC
supply to frequency
selecting and
amplifying module.
their parameters
(frequency band,
ATT, power, and
alarm) can not be
read or set.
ON
Oscillation
On/off
To enable/disable the function
that controls self-excited
oscillation
‘ON' = enable the
function to control the
self-excited oscillation,
this is done automatically
by stepping down the
gain when while isolation
value is lower than the
configured value.
‘OFF = disable the
function to control
the self-excited
oscillation.
OFF
ATT setting
Adjustment to the operation
gain for: Master
uplink/downlink ATT, assistant
uplink/ downlink ATT.
Master uplink / downlink
ATT is 0~30dB
Assistant uplink /
downlink ATT is
0~10dB.
0dB for both
master ATT &
Assistant ATT
Temperature
threshold
Setting the upper-temperature
threshold within the enclosure.
A measured temperature is
shown.
Should the measured
temperature reach the
threshold, the alarm is
generated.
+80c
Channel number
setting
To configure channel number,
and the offset freq.
Uplink channel numbers:
High edge and low edge
Downlink channel
numbers: High edge
and low edge
Output Power
Low Threshold
To set the uplink and downlink
output power low threshold. A
measured power level is
shown, and customer can set
power threshold according to
situation. It is suggested to set
the threshold 3~5dBm lower
than the measured values.
Should the measured
power value is lower than
the setting, the
appropriate UL/DL power
low alarm will be
generated.
Input Power Low
Threshold
To set the input power low
threshold. A measured power
level is shown, and customer
can set power threshold
according to situation.
Should the measured
power value is lower than
the setting, the
appropriate alarm will be
generated.
