Installing or Removing a Slot Cover

This section contains the following procedures:

Installing a Slot Cover

This section describes how to install a slot cover in the LCC. The chassis is shipped with slot covers over the
switch fabric card and RP card slots; we advise installing slot covers over any empty slots in the chassis. Both
slot cover types are installed in the same manner. The following figure shows an RP slot cover for reference.
