Supplicant Credentials
This page enables creating and configuring credentials that can be used by an interface
configured as an 802.1x supplicant.
To add a supplicant’s credentials:
STEP 1
Click
Security > 802.1X Authentication
>
Supplicant Credentials
.
STEP 2
Click
Add
.
STEP 3
Enter the following fields:
•
Credential Name
—Name by which to identify the credential.
•
User Name
—Enter the user name associated with the credential name.
•
Description
—Enter text describing the user.
•
Password
—Select the type of password:
Encrypted
or
Plaintext
and add the
password.
STEP 4
Click
Apply
and the settings are saved to the Running Configuration file.
MAC-Based Authentication Settings
This page enables you to configure various setting to apply to MAC-based authentication.
To configure MAC-based authentication:
