IB-SYSTEM-R 

3.7 Ethernet network adaptor 

The Ethernet network adaptor allows the system to be connected to a network and to access 
field  sensors  through  it.  It  is  equipped  with  data  rate  detection mechanism  and  can  be  used 
over 10/100Mbit/s networks. 
 
It is possible to mount the Ethernet network adaptor IB-ETH on the rear of the back panel with 
the  connector  located  upward  or  downward,  just  by  plugging  it  onto  the  two  connectors 
OPTO1 and OPTO2 and fastening it with two screws. 

 
 

 

 

 
 
It  is  not  necessary  to  change  any  of  the  system  configuration  when  installing  the  IB-ETH 
adaptor and all the RS 485 lines are still working.
