2.4 IB-Island-8
The IB-Island8 displays the alarms signalled by field devices and sends them to a control unit via
normally closed ON/OFF contacts. Every island is able to manage up to 8 sensors or barriers and
for each device reports the following states: alarm, tamper, fault, no answer (if the sensor does
not reply to server polling).
The figure below shows the front panel and card setup switches.
