3.2.2 Modem configuration 

Before being used for connection of a remote IB-System-R, the modem must be configured 
correctly. Connect the modem to a PC using normal serial cable (supplied with the modem) and 
launch HyperTerminal. 
The following shows the configuration for the LONGSHINE LCS-8560VA-A modem:
