Locate the blower gate counterpoint air

pressure adjustment knobs (Figure 7-95)

at the rear of the machine, under the dis-

charge bypass conveyor.

Position one worker near the blower mo-

tors.

Turn power ON at the main disconnect

switch.

Turn ON the compressed air supply to the

machine.

Feed several pieces and closely listen to

the opening and closing of the blower

gates. They should in as synchronous as

possible.

To make changes:

To the opening speed of the left blower

motor, turn knob A clockwise to de-

crease pressure; counterclockwise to

increase pressure.

To the closing speed of the left blower

motor, turn knob B clockwise to de-

crease pressure; counterclockwise to

increase pressure.

To the opening speed of the right

blower motor, turn knob D clockwise

to decrease pressure; counterclockwise

to increase pressure.

To the closing speed of the right blower

motor, turn knob C clockwise to de-

crease pressure; counterclockwise to

increase pressure.

Make adjustments until both gates are

opening and closing in unison without

banging at either end.

Stop the unit.

Turn power OFF at the main disconnect

switch.

Turn OFF the compressed air supply.
