5. Adjust the position of the Pelvic Harness so that it slightly
overlaps on top of the Thoracic Harness as shown.
8. Adjust the position of the table as needed (lumbar section
up/down, side bending and/or rotation) for patient comfort
or to accommodate any postural deformities. Adjust
armrests as needed. See Annex for a treatment example.
9. Make sure the table is locked in the closed position before
getting the patient on the table.
10. Carefully assist patient onto the table for prone or supine
treatment as desired.
11. Secure the Pelvic Harness first so that the top of the harness
is just above the iliac crests or at the navel level. Secure the
Thoracic Harness, slightly overlapping the Pelvic Harness, on
the lower rib cage. The harnesses should fit as tight as
possible without excessive discomfort.
6. The non-slip harnesses can be used over clothes but placing
the harness directly on the patient’s skin ensures the best
treatment technique. Slipping the shirt up and the pants
down can easily accomplish this.
7. Adjust the height of the table so that the patient can easily
get onto the table.
