Slimline Stabilization Belts
The Slimline Stabilization Belts can be used for pelvic traction,
mobilization, manipulation or exercise. The Lumbar Stabilization
Belt should be fitted with a sacral pad (provided) for additional
stabilization during prone treatments. The Lumbar Stabilization
Belt works best with patients who have smaller waists than
hips. Using the Slimline Stabilization Belts during prone traction
allows the lumbar spine to be exposed, which permits the
clinician to perform manual techniques or other modalities
during traction. There are three optional positions for the
Thoracic Stabilization Belt to allow the clinician a variety of
treatment options for patient comfort and manual techniques.
Note that the Slimline Stabilization Belts may be “mixed and
matched” with the Thoracic and Pelvic Harnesses. For example,
the Thoracic Slimline Stabilization Belt can be used with the
Pelvic Harness.
Cervical Traction Accessory
To install the Cervical Traction Accessory:
a. Slide the Cervical Traction Accessory into the face slot from
the top. Raise it slightly to clear the brace at the top of the
face slot.
b. Continue sliding the Cervical Traction Accessory down into
the face slot as far as it will go.
c. Adjust the angle of the face slot as desired. For most
applications we recommend 15°.
