4 - OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Booster battery procedure with optional jump post

1. Sit in the operator's seat and have the other person

make the connections. Make sure the booster batter-
ies are

12 V

2. If using another machine for power, make sure the two

machines do not touch.

3. Connect the jumper cables to the booster battery.

4. Remove the red rubber boot from the terminal post.

5. Connect the positive

(+)

jumper cable to the positive

(+)

terminal as shown.

6. Connect the negative

(-)

jumper cable to the frame, as

far away as possible from the positive

(+)

cable.

7. Start the engine and have the other person disconnect

the negative

(-)

jumper cable first and the positive

(+)

jumper cable last.

8. Disconnect the jumper cables from the booster battery.
