7 - MAINTENANCE

Initial 20 hours

Transmission oil level

WARNING

Rotating parts!
The engine is running. Keep clear of rotating fans and belts.

Before starting the engine, make sure all controls are in the neutral position.

Check the fluid level of the transmission after the first 20 hours of operation on a new machine or after a component
rebuild. Then check the fluid level every 250 hours of operation.

1.

Start the engine. The engine must be running at
idle speed to accurately check the transmission fluid
level.

2.

Keep the park brake engaged.

3.

Ensure that the transmission gear shift and the direc-
tional control lever are in the neutral position.

4.

Raise the loader arm and secure it in place with the
support strut.

5.

Lift open the engine hood.

6.

Turn the dipstick handle counter-clockwise and pull
out the dipstick.
