Operating Manual

5.11 Print Control

Because of the fact that the print module is always in control mode it
is only possible to transmit and not to start print orders by the
available interfaces (serial, USB or Ethernet). The print is started by a
start signal to the 'print start-control input'. It is necessary for the
control unit to recognise the moment of setting the start signal and
therefore it is possible and also necessary to observe the print status
by the outputs.

5.12 Initiation

Once all connections have been made:



Switch control unit on with the power switch.



Insert transfer ribbon (see chapter 5.13, page 38).
