8. Storage (Long-term Storage)
When storing for a long time, it is necessary to take suitable action to prepare for the next time
that the machine is used. When preparing for long-term storage, carry out "Maintenance after
use" (see page 50), then do as follows.
Do not store this machine, the battery, or fuel in a place where there is a flame
or where the temperature is high. There is a danger of fire.
Avoid storing the machine in a place where there is high humidity or excessive
dust. When storing, wait for the engine to cool down, then cover the machine
with a waterproof sheet.
8.1 Machine
8.1.1 Crawler

1. Loosen the lock nut of the crawler, and loosen the
tension bolt. (See page 46)
2. Clean the outside surface of the machine with an oily
cloth, then lubricate the rotating and sliding parts.
3. Place a board under the crawler.
4. Remove the engine starting key.

1. Operate the clutch lever to the [
