About This Manual

Basic Assumptions for Operational Instructions, Sample Photos

Before following any instructions, make sure the power switch is

set to <

> and no controls are locked with the Multi-function lock

(p.48, 60).

It is assumed that all the menu settings and Custom Functions are

set to their defaults.

The illustrations in this manual show the camera attached with the

RF24-105mm F4 L IS USM lens as an example.

The sample photos used in this manual are for instructional purposes

only.

In references to using EF or EF-S lenses, it is assumed that a mount

adapter is used.
