Shooting Movies

Manual Exposure Shooting

You can manually set the shutter speed, aperture, and ISO speed

for movie shooting. Using manual exposure to shoot movies is for

advanced users.

Set the shooting mode to [

Set the ISO speed.

Press the <

> button.

Turn the <

> dial to select the ISO

speed item.

Turn the <

> dial to set it.

(1)

(2)

Set the shutter speed (1) and

aperture (2).

Press the shutter button halfway and

check the exposure level indicator.

To set the shutter speed, turn the

> dial. To set the aperture, turn

the <

> dial.

The settable shutter speeds vary

depending on the frame rate.

Focus and shoot the movie.

The procedure is the same as steps

2 and 3 for “Autoexposure Shooting”

(p.209).
