Needle
The
new
widget can be used to configure your own analog pointer displays (rev counter/boost
pressure indicator). The
needle
widget can be scaled with the
DSS
exactly to the desired size. Both
the size and the color of the pointer are adjustable. In the screenshot below, the
needle
widget can
be seen on the predefined
TrackView
.

Interesting with the
needle
widget is the drag pointer (shown on the picture as a transparent pointer)
with which you can see the peak of the last milliseconds (function can be deactivated in the
DSS
).
Please put the matching speedometer disc as a
picture
. With
x/y coord
you can adjust the position of
the widget as usual. With radius1 and
radius2
you can adjust the size of the needle. This is stretched
between radius1 and
radius2
. The width determines the width of the needle. As with the other
widgets,
the
needle
must also be assigned a
sensor
and the color of the pointer is done as usual via
the color wheel.

The menu items
min
value and
max value
are the lower and upper limits of the
widget.
If there are
zeros here, the values for min. and max. of the
needle
are taken from the
TRI/TRX file
.
