7 Adjust on the display
While with the Gen1 CANchecked data displays almost everything could be configured on the display,
the possibilities to set up the sides on the display itself have been significantly reduced with the
Gen2.
To improve the setup of your data display, we've put even more work into customizing your display
using
DSS .
Nevertheless, you can adjust your data display a little even without a PC. Not all Widgets described in
chapter 9.3.2.3 can be configured on the display. Which widgets you can customize on the display
and what you can change with them can be seen in the table below.

It is not possible to change the size or position of widgets on the display. This requires a connection
to the
DSS .
When changing the widgets on the display, it is very important to check how many widgets are on
top of each other at this point before changing them. To do this, you can dig a layer deeper into the
user interface with each click on the display. For example, the
predefined page TrackView has five
layers on top of each other, while the DailyDash has three layers.
In the event of a change, attention must be paid to the selection of the correct widget . As soon as
the first widget is selected, it is marked by a red box. The lower part of the display now shows which
widget it is. If you click OK you close the edit mode, you tap again on the corresponding place and
your display switches through to the next layer. You can click until the selection fields for the possible
options are gone again, now you are through all layers and can start all over again.
