CRVW3 3-Channel Vibrating-Wire Datalogger

station. Interpret the information shown in this screen the same way as

when using the

Troubleshoot

tab.

The

Off Line Analysis

tab is only available in

DevConfig

when

not

connected to a CRVW3.

Repeat the above process for channels 2 and 3 (individually) if applicable.

Rename the various files as needed to indicate the station and channel that they

represent. It is recommended that some

TimeSeries.bin

files be captured soon

after the installation of a CRVW3 station so that they can be kept as baseline

references that document how the sensor was operating at the time of

deployment.

12.1.3 Adjusting Device Settings

You can view and change the current settings on each CRVW3 device using

the

Connect Screen

. This is possible even when connections are made remotely

to the CRVW3 over radio links, including repeater links. Choose the

Settings

Editor…

option from the

Datalogger

menu. A

Settings

screen will appear that

works much like

DevConfig

. You can view settings for the device and change

them if necessary. Review the warning below before changing any settings.

You can also use

PakBusGraph

to view and edit changes to the device’s

settings. Highlight the device in the main PakBus screen and right-click on the

device, then choose

Edit Settings…

Make sure you have selected the correct

PakBusPort

in the

PakBusNetwork

dropdown (as defined in

Setup Screen

) to

view your CRVW3 devices.

Make sure you have collected all required data before making a change to the

settings. After you apply changes to a CRVW3’s device settings, the CRVW3

will reset itself to begin measuring with the new settings. Close the

Settings

screen since it is no longer connected to the CRVW3. You will need to allow

up to 20 seconds to elapse after pressing

Apply

before you can expect to
