File / Setup Wizard
The Setup Wizard walks the user through all the necessary parameters used for proper Vertex
operation. All settings can be performed manually using the VCT tabs explained above.
Note: If running the Setup Wizard using a VPN connection, or in any other case where a UDP
broadcast connection is not available, follow
instructions for VPN connections

File / Wizard Logs
These files show the detailed results of each Setup Wizard run.
File / Configuration Settings
The Vertex hardware saves all settings within non-volatile memory. We recommend saving these
parameters in a file on the PC. If the Vertex needs to be replaced or repaired, the settings can be
loaded from the VCT back to the hardware.
Although, a backup file of the settings is saved when exiting the VCT, it is advised to also manually
save them to a file. Loading defaults should only be used if you need to clear the hardware of all
parameters previously set.
File / Transfer Logs
These files show all parameter changes sent to the Vertex hardware from the VCT. "Search for
Changes" may help to determine whether any recent parameter changes may have adversely
affected the Vertex operation.
