Troubleshooting
Is the input level appropriate?
Turn the [INPUT LEVEL] knob toward the left to decrease the input level. If your software has
an input level adjustment, check the input level setting.
Is the [GUITAR/MIC] switch set correctly?
If you’re recording from a guitar connected to the [GUITAR/MIC] jack, make sure that the
“[GUITAR/MIC] Switch” (p. 11) is set to
GUITAR .
While using the UA-1G, could you have performed an operation that required a large
amount of processing, such as accessing the CD-ROM drive or network?
If a heavy processing load is encountered while the UA-1G is in use, it may stop operating
correctly. If this occurs, stop playback/recording, and then start playback/recording once
again. If you are still unable to play back or record, close all sequencer software that is using
the UA-1G, disconnect the UA-1G’s USB cable from the computer, and then reconnect it.
Could you be starting your computer with the UA-1G already connected?
On some computers, starting up the computer with a USB device already connected may
cause the computer to operate unstably or fail to start up. If so, start up your computer with
the UA-1G disconnected.
Recorded volume is too high
Playback/recording stops unexpectedly, and subsequent playback/recording
is not possible
Operating system becomes unstable
