PHONES/DIGITAL OUT Jack
This is a dual-purpose jack for headphone output and digital output.
• You can connect headphones to this jack. Even if headphones are connected, sound will still be
output from the OUTPUT jacks.
• Connect an optical mini cable to this jack if you want to output a digital audio signal to a digital
recorder or speakers that have a digital input connector.
MIC (PLUG-IN POWERED) / DIGITAL IN Jack
This is a dual-purpose input jack for connecting a condenser mic or a digital input source.
• A miniature condenser mic that requires a power supply, such as used with computers, can be
connected here. This jack supplies 5V of power.
* You must use a monaural mic that supports plug-in power. Use the [INPUT LEVEL] knob to
adjust the volume.
• Connect an optical mini cable to this jack if you want to input a digital audio signal from a
digital audio device.
* You can’t adjust the volume of the digital input.
[GUITAR/MIC] Switch
Set this to the GUITAR position if you’ve connected a guitar to the GUITAR/MIC jack, or to MIC
if you’ve connected a dynamic mic. This switch changes the input level and impedance of the
GUITAR/MIC jack.
GUITAR/MIC Jack
Connect a guitar or a monaural dynamic mic to this 1/4” phone jack.
Use the [INPUT LEVEL] knob to adjust the volume.
