5. Installation

Switch on the Printer

After making all connections, power on the printer using the power switch (

The printer will perform a short system test, then

key lights up on the

navigator pad.

If a hardware failure occurs during the system test, the lettering

lights

up. In this case the printer should be powered off and on again. If the failure re-

occurs, call for service.

If you connected the printer by the USB interface, after the first switching on,

the computer ask you to install the printer driver. If you want to work with

CABLABEL, the installation of the Windows Printer Driver is not necessary

because CABLABEL has own internal drivers. Otherwise install the Windows

Printer Driver.
