19. Select ‘8kHz’ using the ‘Frequency’ button on the Locator.
CORRECT RESULT : Confirm that the ‘8kHz’ icon is showing on the Locator
display. The Locator bar graph should show a mid-scale response with the
audio tone sounding.
20. Press the ‘Frequency’ button on the Function Checker.
Repeat until the Function Checker display shows ‘33kHz’.
21. Place the Locator above the Function Checker with the Wear Foot of the
Locator resting on the handle of the Function Checker and in line with it.
