7. Successively reduce the Signal Generator output power using
the ‘Decrease Power’ button. The Signal Generator display should
indicate the lower output levels on the bar graph.
CORRECT RESULT : The Function Checker bar graph should also
show a corresponding reduction in signal to a lowest reading of
between 1/10 and 3/10 of full scale.
8. Return the Signal Generator to full power using the ‘Increase
Power’ button. Press the ‘Pulsed/Continuous’ button on the Signal
Generator to select the pulsed signal output.
CORRECT RESULT : The Function Checker bar graph should now
be flickering to indicate a pulsed signal. The Signal Generator
audio response will also change from a continuous to a pulsed tone.
