Handling
The C.Scope Function Checker is a rugged instrument
designed for the rigours of everyday use. To ensure that
the specified accuracy is maintained, it is essential to treat
the instrument with care by avoiding shocks, vibration and
excesses of temperature.
The construction incorporates weatherproof seals,
however, it is not guaranteed to prevent water ingress
if the equipment is immersed.
Cleaning
The equipment can be cleaned with a sponge dampened
with warm water. A mild soap may be used if required.
The use of solvents should be avoided.
Do not allow moisture in the battery compartment or
near the connectors.
Storage
The equipment should be stored in a clean and dry
environment. The temperature should not exceed the
range -10˚C to +50˚C. If stored for long periods the
batteries should be removed.
Calibration
The Function Checker should be calibrated by C.Scope
at least once a year. Failure to complete an annual
calibration may invalidate the results. The date when the
next service is due is marked on the Function Checker.
