7.3 Changing Gas Bottles

Close regulator tap (Fig. 83,3) on the gas
bottle (Fig. 83,5). Pay attention to the direc-
tion of the arrow.

Unscrew the gas pressure regulator
(Fig. 83,2) with the gas tube (Fig. 83,1) from
the gas bottle by hand (left-handed thread).

Release the fixing belt (Fig. 83,4) and re-
move the gas bottle.

Place a filled gas bottle in the gas bottle
compartment.

Fix gas bottle in place with the fixing belt.
³
Screw gas pressure regulator with gas tube
on gas bottle by hand (left-handed thread).

7.4 Gas Isolator Taps
A gas isolator tap (Fig. 84) for every gas device
is built into the motorhome. The gas isolator
taps are located in the vehicle at different posi-
tions, and can also be fitted separately. Each of
the symbols on the gas isolator taps refers to a
gas device:

When changing gas bottles, do not smoke or create any open fire.

When you have changed the gas bottle, check whether gas escapes at the connec-
tion points and unions. Use a leakage search spray to spray the relevant connection
point or union.
