Continuous ventilation:
With the catch lever, the hinged window can be
placed in 2 positions:
z
Continuous ventilation (Fig. 41 or Fig. 42)
or
z
firmly closed.
To place the hinged window into the "continu-
ous ventilation" position:

If necessary, press the safety knob
(Fig. 42,3) down and hold it.
³
Turn catch lever (Fig. 41,3 or Fig. 42,4) ver-
tically or a quarter turn toward the centre of
the window.
³
Lightly open the hinged window outwards.
³
If necessary, press the safety knob
(Fig. 42,3) down and hold it.
³
Return catch lever to its initial position.
Move the locking catch (Fig. 41,2) into the
the recess of the window catch (Fig. 41,1)
or move the fork (Fig. 42,2) on the window
handle into the window catch (Fig. 42,1).

If necessary, ensure that the safety knob is
not pushed in but rather that it secures the
catch lever.
The window position "continuous ventilation"
must not be kept during the journey.
During rain, the window position "continuous
ventilation" could lead to splash water penetrat-
ing into the living area. Therefore, close the
hinged windows completely.
