8.9 Fuses
8.9.1 Fuses 12 V
The appliances connected to the 12 V power
supply in the living area are fused individually.
The fuses are accessible in the engine com-
partment, in the driver’s cabin, at the living area
battery and on the transformer/rectifier (Fig. 88
and Fig. 89).
Before changing fuses, take the function, value
and colour of the relevant fuses from the follow-
ing specifications. When changing fuses, only
use flat fuses with the values shown below.
Fuses on the starter battery
In vehicles built on Fiat, Citroen or Peugeot
chassis, the fuses are installed in the engine
compartment above the starter battery.
In vehicles built on Renault chassis, the fuses
are installed in the driver’s cabin above the
starter battery. In vehicles built on Renault
chassis, the starter battery is located on the
floor between the driver’s cabin seats under a
cover.

jumbo flat fuse 50 A/red

Type of fuse (Fig. 96,2 and Fig. 97,1):
flat fuse 20 A/yellow for refrigerator

Type of fuse (Fig. 96,1):
flat fuse 2 A/grey for alternator D+ (only for
Fiat/Citroen/Peugeot)
Fuses on the living area battery
The fuses are fitted next to the living area bat-
tery.

flat fuse 2 A/grey for battery sensor charger
