Gas Oven (Partially Special Equipment)

Turning on:

Open the regulator tap on the gas bottle and the gas isolator tap "Cooker".

Open oven door completely.

Lightly press control knob (Fig. 121,1) and set to baking

or grilling

Manual ignition:

Press the control knob (Fig. 121,1) down and hold it.

Using a gas lighter, match or cigarette light-
er, light the lower burner for baking mode or
the upper burner for grilling mode.

Once the flame is burning, the control knob
must be held down for another 10 to 15 sec-
onds.

Release the control knob and turn to the de-
sired setting.

Automatic ignition:

Press the control knob (Fig. 121,1) and hold
it down for 5 to 10 seconds.

Release the control knob and turn to the de-
sired setting.

Always keep ventilation apertures open.

There must be no flammable objects near the gas oven when it is being lit.

The oven flap must remain open when it is being lit.

If ignition has not taken place, repeat the entire procedure. If necessary, check if
there is gas/and or current in the gas oven.

If the gas oven still does not work, close the gas isolator tap and notify your Bürstner
dealer.

If the burner flame is accidentally extinguished, turn the control knob to "OFF" and
leave the burner off for at least 1 minute. Then ignite it again.

Before using the gas oven for the first time run it for 30 minutes at maximum tempera-
ture without any contents.
