Power limitations / Limiting controller

INFORMATION

To protect the charger and connected peripherals (e.g. HV battery, charging cable, Wallbox) from
damage due to overload, several load limits must be considered. The charger continuously monitors
whether all operating values are within the permissible range, and reduces charging power if
required (derating).

7.4.1

Input current limitation Indem

The input current is limited by the other limiters, the technical limits of the device, the charging cable

(Proximity Detection) and the charging station (Control Pilot).
