

The (externally created and evaluated) interlock signal is transmitted over the DC plug. As a result, the

correct connection of the DC plug is constantly monitored. If the DC plug is disconnected or not

properly locked, the charger and battery should immediately be switched off by the external interlock

system, so dangerous situations can be avoided.
